Items are guaranteed to be as described.

If an item is incorrectly described, it may be returned within 10 days of receipt, but must be in the same condition as when received.  This includes freedom from any new odors, including cigarette smoke, that it didn't have when shipped.

We cannot accept responsibility for any items sent to us or to a customer without insurance.

Insurance that we provide only covers items while they are in our possession or are en route to the buyer, not before we receive them.  This applies especially to items sent to us for repair.  Please insure these for their full replacement value when you ship them.  Having some recent photos of the items would be helpful in the extremely unlikely event that we don't receive them and you want to file an insurance claim with the carrier.  We keep pictures on file of all items we have repaired, and damage in transit is also covered by postal insurance.

If you pay by personal check, items will be shipped 10 business days after the check is received.  

PayPal instructs us not to ship items paid for by e-check until PayPal notifies us that the payment has cleared.  This applies only to e-check payments, not to other forms of payment via PalPal.

We really don't want to leave anyone with a feeling that they didn't get a fair deal.  We describe all items very carefully, and provide clear, well focused pictures.  Feel free  to ask for additional pictures of any items you are considering buying; pictures will be sent to you by e-mail, at no cost, only subject to refusal of requests for unreasonably large numbers of pictures.
